Each container has a standard container number, which adopts the ISO6346 (1995) standard. The standard container number consists of 11 digits.
The second part is the {{0}}digit container registration code (Registration Code), or serial number (Serial Number), which is the unique identification held by a container body. If there are less than six digits, then use 0 to fill it in front. For example, the first box of a box owner may be 000001.
The third part is the check code (CheckDigit). This is a separate Arabic numeral, usually framed on the cabinet to distinguish it from the cabinet registration number. It is the basis for checking whether the container owner code and serial number records are accurate. It is calculated by the first 4 letters and 6 digits through verification rules.
According to the verification rules, each letter and number of the box number has a corresponding value of operation. In the first 10 digits of the box number, the corresponding values of the numbers are themselves, that is, 0 to 9, and the corresponding values of the letters A to Z are 10 to 38. Since 11, 22, and 33 cannot be modulo 11, they are removed.
The calculation method is as follows: the corresponding value of the Nth box number is multiplied by 2^(N-1) (N=1, 2, 3......10).
Its code value=the corresponding value of the code × 2^ (1-1)=15 × 2^0=15 × 1=15.
Its code value=the corresponding value of the code × 2^ (2-1)=19 × 2^1=19 × 2=38.

45G1: Size and type code (box code), that is, 40HQ refers to a 40-foot high cabinet.
According to strict standard requirements, any container with a height exceeding 2.6m should be affixed with an over-height mark. You can see the picture below. Because our container is 2.9m higher than the specified height of 2.6m, it is also affixed with an over-height mark.
The mark has black numbers and a border on a yellow background. Height signs must be affixed on both sides of the container. The upper part of the mark with black characters on a yellow background is in "meters" and the lower part of the mark is in imperial units. The affixed position is 0.6 meters to the right of 1.2 meters from the top. At the same time, affix a zebra logo no shorter than 300mm on the top and side beams near the corner pieces.
ISO stipulates that any container with a maximum gross weight (MGW) exceeding 30,480kg is an overweight container, and a triangular overweight mark needs to be affixed to the outside of the container. The mark is a triangular black border with "SUPERHEAVY" printed in black English font on a yellow background.
